Hello Beautiful People and Peace Lovers, after spending time with a lot of stoners I have come to realize that one needs (mostly) only 2 things after getting high; one is food and another is music. I can’t provide you with food unfortunately but I CAN give you a playlist that can help you with boosting or maintaining your high.

In this list you’ll find songs of several genres and artists. Some are famous whereas some are underrated, but there’s one thing for sure that they will give you high of a different world. So, without wasting any time of yours, here’s the VERY PRECIOUS playlist made after listening to all kinds of hippies:

About: When you’re high and can’t stop thinking about your crush

About: To Be Human is an anthemic song with a cinematic build up. On the song Sia and Labrinth sing about what it truly means to be a human.

About: It’s like you are healing slowly after some tragedy and you are about to start totally fresh. Thus, you’re feeling good about it and you feel free.

Genre: Tropical House

About: The first few lines talk about not letting a hope die. As they say, the night is the darkest just before the dawn; in the case of the song, it implies that just before things get better, they hit their worst. There’s an impending storm and one is on the verge of giving up everything. But then the line “Leave a light on” suggests to hang on a little longer, until the dawn breaks, and things get better.

About: Cynical aside about a woman getting everything she wanted all the time without giving back any thought or consideration.

About: It’s as if someone’s trying to warn you to stay away from dream/fantasy of being in love with him/her as it can lead to destruction. However, you both want to be together.


  1. Pink Floyd- Comfortably Numb

Genre: Classic Rock

About: The feeling of desperation that few can feel. Imagine having every last thing on earth you could want, and yet having absolutely nothing. Wanting to claw your own eyes out and yet not having the energy to lift your hands up. You know that you are hurt but at the same time you’re comfortably numb.

Genre: Psychedelic rock, Pop

About: This song shows how our world is full of meaningless illusions, and how people are looking for something more meaningful in life. He says in the beginning of the song, that he doesn’t know what is going on with this one that he loves so much, and he doesn’t know if he should go ahead and be with her, it might be too big of a risk.

About: There are two people who are having problems and there is one who is waiting for the problem to solve because it causing problems to a hell. Both of them wish to turn back time to good old days to make it alright to make it same and promise to build new world for them with her in middle to make her feel special.

About: For whatever reasons, they are haunted by their relationship. Since they don’t want to be haunted, they wish they never got into the relationship in the first place. If they could go back in time he would go out of his way to not invest in the relationship. He’d rather have chosen another path.

Genre: Pop/Acoustic

About: When you have nothing to give to your partner but love. When you know that you have flaws but you appreciate your partner for still being there for you.

About: When you know that you will drown if you stay even a minute long with that person but you still can’t let him/her go. That vibe around him/her is like a drug that’s getting you higher and higher. You want to leave right away but you just can’t because you are ADDICTED TO THIS POISON.

About: Doesn’t matter if you are starting your day or ending it, this song will get you that boost you need to stay persistent and be happy.


  1. Bob Marley- No woman No cry

Genre: Reggae

About: Any true Bob Marley fan would know that “No Woman, No Cry” is a reference to England’s prior control of Jamaica. “Woman” is a reference to the Queen of England. They used to protest in Trench Town all night long against England. However you can use it as your “freedom song”. A purely political song.

Genre: Dance/electronic

About: This song will get you all charged up for whatever you are going to do. A perfect dance number.


  1. Eagles- Hotel California

Genre: Classic rock

About: Don Henley explained in the Daily Mail dated 9/11/2007: Some of the wilder interpretations of that song have been amazing. It was really about the excesses of American culture and certain girls we knew. But it was also about the uneasy balance between art and commerce.


  1. Linkin Park- Iridescent

Genre: Hard rock

About: It’s a “rock ballad about HOPE amongst chaos and sadness” according to the band.
Joe Hahn, the band’s turntablist, who directed the video said, in a one-line description of the video’s concept, ‘In the valley of the blind, the one-eyed man is king’

Genre: Rock

About: Jimi wrote this in 1967 for Are You Experienced?; it was inspired by his girlfriend at the time, Kathy Mary Etchingham. He’d gotten into an argument with her about her cooking.   1. Taylor Swift Ft. The Civil Wars- Safe And Sound

Genre: Folk

About: Inspired by the first Hunger Games movie, “Safe & Sound” is a lullaby sung by Katniss’ character to her 12-year-old sister Prim. In the song, Katniss promises to protect her and keep them both safe, even though she knows she probably can’t.
